How to reach us
Write to info@robomiri.com, in English or in Romanian. It reaches the small team that builds the app, in Rotterdam, and we answer within two working days. There is no phone line and no chat widget: a written report we can read twice is worth more than either.
If a question looks wrong to you, send its number and what you believe the right reading is — that one string is enough for us to find it exactly, together with the article it cites. For anything else, tell us your phone model, its OS version, the app version and whether you were signed in or using it as a guest. A screenshot usually says most of it at once.

Common questions
Is DrivePrep RO an official DRPCIV app?
No. It is independent, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to DRPCIV, DGPCI or the Romanian Police. Nothing you do in the app counts towards anything official — the licence comes from an examination the authority runs, and this is preparation for it.
Where do the questions come from?
They are written here, against the published law: OUG 195/2002 and HG 1391/2006. Each question names the article it tests, so any answer you doubt can be checked at the source rather than taken on our word. No official question bank is reproduced in the app.
I think a question or an explanation is wrong.
Tell us, and quote the article you think it gets wrong. This is the report we act on fastest. If the law has moved and the question has not, that is a content fix and it ships in the next content update; if we disagree with your reading, you will get the reasoning rather than silence.
Do I need an account?
No. You can practise as a guest, and everything except syncing works that way. An account exists so your progress can continue on a second device, and to carry a purchase once there is one to carry.
Does it work without a signal?
Practice, the spaced-repetition queue, the mistake bank and the road-sign encyclopedia are all on the device and need nothing. Signing in, syncing between devices and the AI tutor need a connection, because each of them is a conversation with a server.
How faithful is the exam simulation?
It follows the published rules for the licence category you pick — the number of questions, the time, the pass mark, and the multi-select questions that only count when the selected set is exactly right. What it cannot reproduce is the room. Passing here is a good sign and nothing more.
The AI tutor said something that contradicts the app.
Trust the app and the article it cites, not the tutor. The tutor is a language model grounded in our own theory and legal text; it is a study aid, it says so on screen, and it can be wrong. Send us the exchange and we will look at whether the grounding material is at fault.
How do I get my data out, or delete my account?
Write to info@robomiri.com and we will do it. Both are built on the server — an export hands you your profile, attempts, answers and review state as one file, and a deletion ends every session immediately and removes what belongs to you — but the buttons in Settings are not switched on yet, so for now it goes through us. We answer these within the month the law allows and usually within the week.
What does it cost?
Nothing is on sale yet. What is designed and waiting: fifteen questions are free, along with the whole theory and road-sign section, and sixty days of everything else will cost a single payment of 35 lei — bought again when it runs out, not a subscription. The stores handle the payment; this page and the privacy policy will say so before the first one is taken.
03
What the app does not do
It does not book an examination, it does not issue anything, and it has no connection to any authority. It is study material and a simulation of the test, and the actual exam is run by people who have never heard of us.
It also carries no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not sell anything about you to anybody. Those are absent on purpose rather than not yet built.
04
Bugs and feature requests
Both go to the same address. A bug report with the question number, the screen and what you expected usually turns into a fix in the next release, and we will tell you when that release goes out. Feature requests are read by the person who decides what gets built, and we will say honestly whether something is planned, unlikely or already in progress rather than leaving it in a queue you cannot see.
If a request would require the app to collect or transmit something it does not need, we will say no and explain why. That constraint is part of the product.
05
Purchases, refunds and restoring
There is nothing to buy yet. When there is, the app store handles the money and not us: we will never see your card details, your billing address or your name, and we cannot issue a refund ourselves.
On iOS, purchases and refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, Google Play handles them, at support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637. If a purchase is not restoring and the store has told you it should have, write to us with the order number and we will help you chase it.
06
Your data, briefly
You can use the app without giving us anything; an account holds what an account has to hold, and your own progress if you sync it. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking in the app at all, and what we do hold sits on servers in the European Union. The full statement is at robomiri.com/driveprep/privacy.
If you email us, we hold your message and your address for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a record of the answer. Nothing else.
